Use this when payment should unlock a URL, download, landing page, or simple digital delivery step.

Best use cases​

  • paid files
  • report or research downloads
  • paid web pages
  • private resources
  • one-time unlocks

Setup​

Choose either:

  • Redirect Send the buyer to a destination after payment
  • Custom Keep delivery manual while still using HiltPay for checkout and confirmation

Then define:

  • title
  • description
  • merchant payout wallet
  • fixed amount in SOL or USDC
  • delivery URL or manual delivery value

When to avoid memberships​

Do not add membership settings if the buyer only needs a one-time unlock and you do not need identity or renewal tracking.

Use memberships only when you need:

  • recurring access
  • expiry tracking
  • buyer identity tied to access state

Support pattern​

For redirects and downloads, the most useful support tools are:

  • receipts
  • payment status
  • transaction signature lookup

That is usually enough to prove entitlement without carrying community membership state.
